I have to be honest, I’ve heard mixed reviews on Ipsy, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I got my first Glam Bag this month. But, personally, I was pleasantly satisfied with my bag.

Ipsy charges $10 per month, you’ll get 5 beauty products and a unique Ipsy bag. Most products are sample sizes, which they are fully transparent about. Over time, they work to learn your personal beauty profile to ensure they’re sending you items that will interest you. If you love something you got in your bag, you can order full size versions from ipsy.com at discounted rates and/or earn cash back on your purchase, reducing the overall cost. Ipsy probably does one of the best jobs with customer engagement, helping guests reorder items they fall in love with in their bags!

My August 2018 Glam Bag Favorites:

Makeup Brush, Best Blush Brush, Crown Makeup BrushCrown Blush Brush: this is my absolute favorite from the August Glam Bag, this individual brush retails between $9-13 and full Crown Brush sets start around $75. The bristles on this brush are ultra soft and easily pick up blush allowing for even application

Best Blush, Pixi by Petra BlushPixi by Petra Blush: I received the Beach Rose color and I really liked it. I tend to lean towards warmer blush tones and this hit the nail on the head with its soft rosy and warm tones. It builds nicely, but honestly doesn’t take a lot of product to get the perfect everyday look, total bonus that this product is 100% cruelty free

Ipsy Orange & Yellow Linen Bag: this bag design is so cute, I love the bright orange and yellow colors and the fabric gives off a linen feel, perfect for Summer

I will definitely be keeping this subscription, so stay tuned for more Glam Bag reviews!
